Valentine’s Day is here once again, and to help you make the most out of your day with the one you love I’m listing a ton of fun, unique date ideas below! And if you are more of a ‘stay at home and simply cuddle together on the couch with our favorite wine and pizza’ type of couple, maybe use these as a future date night idea 🙂 All that truly matters is that you spend Valentine’s Day with the one you love <3
P.S. All of these ideas can also be used for a fun Galentine’s Night with your best gal pals!
I also wrote a blog post sharing a ton of casual and dressy Valentine’s Day outfit ideas. You can find that post HERE.
Try a New Restaurant
If you are like me and my husband, then you get stuck into a routine of going to the same restaurants over and over again. Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to branch out and try a new restaurant you’ve been eyeing! Use the holiday as an excuse to splurge a little. Get that second glass of wine, try an appetizer, and DEFINITELY get dessert!
Take a Cooking Class Together
Instead of just going out to eat, sign up for a cooking class near you! More fun, quality time together and you still get yummy food, win-win!
Try an Escape Game
If you’re not into the whole romantic dinner deal, try something fun and exciting like an escape game! Great options have popped up everywhere and they are so much fun! Even better, find some other couple friends to go with and make it a group v-day outing.
Checkout a Local Comedy Club
If you’re looking for a fun night out, a local comedy club is the way to go! We went to see an improv comedy show recently and we were blown away by how amazing it was! Most comedy clubs have drinks / some food and some are full service restaurants, so perfect for a great date night!
Murder Mystery Dinner Show
Dinner and a show, you can’t beat that! Murder mystery dinner shows are so much fun and usually the food is pretty good as well! Nothing like working together to solve a mystery to bring a couple closer 😉
Beer or Wine Tasting
Check out a local winery or brewery for a tasting/tour! A lot of them also have on-site restaurants so you can make it a perfect night out. If not, (and if it’s warm enough) you can always pack a cute picnic dinner for after the tasting!
Go Out Dancing
Whether you try taking a dance lesson together or hit up a salsa club, get outside your comfort zone and try something new together! Who knows, you may end up loving it!
Cook At Home Together / Order Takeout and Rent a Movie
If you’re move of a hangout at home / low-key Valentine’s Day couple, plan to cook dinner together or order your favorite takeout. Then pick out a movie you either both love or both have been wanting to see, break out the wine and chocolate, and have a cozy evening at home.
