It was a whirlwind marathon move-in week, but we did it! If you’re new here, my husband and I went under contract on a beach vacation home in Santa Rosa Beach Florida over Memorial Day Weekend. (If you want to read my 1st post about the townhouse click HERE!) We closed on 6/25 and headed down the week after the 4th to get it ready for vacation rentals.

This was a new construction townhouse on the south side of Hwy 30A so it was unfurnished. So when I say marathon move-in week I mean it! We had to start from scratch on everything which financially sucked, but it was nice getting to choose all of the furniture and decor. We stuck to neutral grey tones with pops of color, especially mixes of blues, and I LOVE how it turned out!

A little bit of info on our townhouse if you are interested in renting:

It is on the south side of 30A right behind Topsail Hill Preserve State Park which has over 3 miles of beaches surrounded by gorgeous sand dunes. The park also has 15 miles of hiking & biking trails, kayak + canoe + paddle board rentals, lakes + ponds, fishing, and a paved trail to the beach. It’s an easy walk or quick bike ride to the beach (we have 4 bikes available + a wagon) & there is typically a tram that will take you and all of your gear to the beach. Tram is currently not running due to Covid-19 but they expect it to open soon. There is also public beach access just down the road and we have a golf cart to quickly & easily get you there!

It is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath and sleeps 9. Both full bathrooms have a double vanity and the townhouse offers plenty of storage (master closet is huge!) The kitchen is fully stocked including serving dishes, a full non-stick pot & pan set, a Crock-Pot, blender, coffee maker, and toaster. We also bought a set of kids plates, bowls, and silverware. We have cable in the living room + master, and all tvs (living room + all bedrooms) are smart tvs (with Netflix, Prime Videos, YouTube, etc.), board games are in the living room, and Wifi is available throughout the townhouse. We also have tons of beach chairs + beach / pool items available to use!

If you’re interested in renting click the below link! Note that it will always be more affordable if you book directly through our management company’s site vs other vacation rental sites.

Before & After Pictures

I’m sure this is what most people came to this post to see, the transformation! We are so happy with how it turned out and we hope guests absolutely love it!! 🙂 I will link as much of the furniture / decor as I can at the end of the post. A lot of it came from HomeGoods, Hobby Lobby, & Old Time Pottery which I’m not able to link.
