Have you ever had that issue where you want a seamless, tucked-in look but your shirt won’t cooperate? Well, I did all the time and it was frustrating when trying to put outfits together. How to fix it: stock your closet with some basic bodysuits you can mix and match with your outfits.

Alright, so I don’t know why it took me so long to discover bodysuits, but I’m so glad I finally did! I recently bought my first two, a black t-shirt bodysuit and a white camisole bodysuit, and I’m in love!

If you are like I was a week ago and have never worn a bodysuit, basically it’s like a leotard you would wear to dance class and fits like a one piece bathing suit. I only buy bodysuits that have open-close snaps at the bottom because who wants to have to take the entire thing off every time you make a trip to the bathroom? Again, the bodysuit is great if you want that nice ‘tucked-in look’ without your shirt bunching up at your waist.

Below are some of my favorite ways to wear bodysuits:

– With high-waisted jeans and a belt

– With work pants or jeans and paired with a cardigan or blazer

– With loose, high-waisted shorts

– With a skirt

So, do your wardrobe a favor and pick up a basic bodysuit that you can mix and match with multiple outfits. I’ve linked some of my favorites below.

XOXO
