Ok, to be 100% honest, I don’t cook all that much, and when I do it’s usually super easy recipes (ones that are almost impossible to mess up).  So if you’re like me and want easy recipes that taste amazing, this one is for you! This Easy 3 Ingredient OREO Truffles Recipe is one of my all-time favorite desserts because they taste AMAZING and are extremely easy to make.

This OREO truffles recipe is my go-to for holidays and events, or just whenever I’m craving them. Seriously, if you can make them and only eat 1, and not have the desire to sit down and eat the rest of them I give you major props! Yes.. they are that good. 🙂

It only takes about 20-30 min to make them with a 20 min wait period in between steps while they chill in the freezer. And when it comes to dipping them in chocolate, I prefer white chocolate (I like the contract between it and the chocolate of the Oreos) but you can use any kind you want!

Below I’m listing all of the ingredients and step-by-step instructions.  Feel free to leave a comment or send me a message through the Contact Me page if you have any questions!

Easy 3 Ingredient OREO Truffles Recipe

  • Servings: 20-25 Pieces
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of White Chocolate Melting Wafers or Chips
  • 1 (8 oz) Cream Cheese
  • 1 package of OREOs

Directions

  1. Crush all except 4 Oreos in a food processor or by hand in a plastic food storage bag and place into a mixing bowl (crush Oreos as finely as possible)
  2. Add the cream cheese to the bowl and start mashing it together with the ground Oreos
  3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place onto a tray or plate with wax paper (wax paper not necessary but makes the process of adding the chocolate a lot easier)
  4. Place Oreo balls in the freezer for 20-30 minutes
  5. Right before removing Oreo balls from the freezer, melt your chocolate wafers / chips according to the directions on the bag. I typically do 30 seconds in the microwave at first and then 15 second intervals until they are fully melted (mix in between each round in the microwave)
  6. Remove Oreo balls from the freezer and start dipping each one in the chocolate until they are all fully coated
  7. I slightly crush my remaining 4 Oreos and use them as garnish on top of the truffles (have to put it on quickly before the chocolate hardens)
