Can you believe it’s already almost July?! I feel like it’s still May and here we are already into the summer. Since it is almost July it’s time to gear up for the 4th!! I LOVE the 4th of July 1.) because I am thankful to be living in the good ole’ USA and 2.) each year my grandparents would throw a huge pool party and the entire family would come over. And when I say the entire family I mean EVERYONE and my grandma is one of 10 siblings.
I moved to TN 10 years ago and each July we would go back for the week of the 4th, but this year my husband and I decided to switch it up and plan a road-trip to visit my other set of grandparents in New Hampshire. We are planning to stop in Washington D.C., Philly, Atlantic City, and Salem (because I’m a history nerd and want to see where all the witch trials were held)! If anyone has any good recommendations for these places let me know in the comment section!
Alright, enough talk about my plans for the 4th and on to the good stuff: 4th of July outfits! I love shopping for 4th of July outfits because red, white, and blue are all colors that are popular to wear in the summer, so you know you’ll re-wear what you buy for the holiday. Let’s be real, besides Halloween and my wedding dress, I don’t ever buy clothes with the intention of only wearing them once.
