The Sephora seasonal sale is here, so I thought it was the perfect time to share some beauty products I’ve been loving lately! I’ve tried out quite a few new makeup and skincare products recently and am in love with them! 100% game changers!! I have super sensitive skin so it says a lot when I absolutely love a new product.
1.) DRUNK ELEPHANT Slaai™ Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser
If you only buy one thing from the Sephora sale, it hands down has to be this makeup removing cleanser!! I always HATED removing my makeup at the end of the day. I would use a makeup removing wipe and then wash my face and still feel like I had makeup that didn’t completely come off. This butter cleanser gets ALL your makeup off and leaves your skin feeling super soft and clean. I will never EVER go back to using makeup removing wipes.
I also have been dealing with terrible hormonal acne breakouts for the past few years, and since I added this to my skincare routine they have drastically gone down. Now if I have a breakout it is minor and goes away quickly. SO thankful I discovered this product!
Note: To get your best use out of the product, apply to your face and leave on for 5 min, then remove it with a warm, damp wash-cloth. I use microfiber makeup removing cloths and they work amazing!
2.) Fenty Beauty Matte Primer
I’ve been using the original Pro Filt’r Fenty Beauty Instant Retouch Primer for 2 years now and it has been the only primer that actually works well on my skin. Blurs pores, keeps you from getting shiny, and keeps your makeup looking amazing all day!
They recently launched the Pro Filt’r Primer in a matte version and it is SO good! Works great on my summertime skin which likes to get super oil with the humidity.
3. Isle of Paradise Glow Clear, Color Correcting Self-Tanning Mousse
I have tried A LOT of self-tanners over the past year and this one is hands down my favorite! I love that it goes on clear so you don’t transfer the color to your sheets or clothes, and it leaves your skin feeling super hydrated. The color is amazing (I use it in dark) and I’ve never ever had streaks or blotchy spots!
4.) Fenty Beauty – Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder
I’ve tried quite a few setting powders and this one is definitely the best I’ve tried! It smells AMAZING and works so great. I use Lavender for my under-eye area to brighten (after applying concealer) and I use butter on the rest of my face to set my makeup.
5.) First Aid Beauty – Ultra Repair Cream Rosemary Mint
This is an amazing face / body cream! It was a bit too heavy to use under my makeup, but it works SO well as my night cream. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and hydrated and it smells absolutely amazing! The mint smell is super calming for when you’re heading to bed.
6.) Fenty Beauty – Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation
If you can’t tell by the above list, I absolutely LOVE the Fenty Beauty makeup products!! 🙂 I’ve been using the original Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation for the past year and love it, but since my skin tends to get super dried out in the fall / winter I thought I would give the new hydrating formula a try. I’ve been wearing it the past few days and it is AMAZING! I paired it with the matte primer to help keep me from getting shiny, and my skin is literally glowing with this combo!
7.) FAB Skin Lab – Retinol Eye Cream with Triple Hyaluronic Acid
This is the eye cream I’ve been using in the evening for the past two months and it is a game changer! I’ve seen a huge difference in my under-eye wrinkles (look minimized!) and my concealer has been going on a lot smoother! The tube is small but you only need a tiny bit each night so it lasts a really long time!
8.) Urban Decay – All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray – Summer Solstice
I’ve been using the Urban Decay All Nigher setting spray for a little while now, but I recently tried the Summer Solstice version and it is amazing! It literally smells like the beach in the best way possible, I want to spray it all the time just for the amazing smell!! I plan on using this all year round! It also works just as well as the original formula.
9.) Tarte – Tarteist™ Glossy Lip Paint
I’ve used the original Tartiest™ Lip Paint before and like it, but this glossy version is sooooo pretty! It gives your lips gorgeous color and just enough hydration and shine so they don’t look dry and flaky. I use the color Hella – white nude!
10.) Hourglass – Ambient® Lighting Bronzer
This is the ONLY bronzer I will use! I’ve tried a ton of different ones and none of them look good except this one. This bronzer is easy to apply and gives you a gorgeous bronzed look. I used to use the color Diffused Bronze Light, which I suggest you use if you are a beginner to using bronzer. It gives you gorgeous color but isn’t too dark or harsh. It’s also cool toned so you will not look orangey at all!
I recently switched to using the color Luminous Bronze Light and it gives me the prettiest summer, bronzed look! I hope they never discontinue this bronzer because I will literally be heart broken!!
